5 yearsA bloke with a thick Pakistani accent rang me up saying my PC was infected with viruses and that my personal info was at risk. He used the wrong name for me right from the start. When I corrected him, he took a wild guess at my name once more and still botched it (I didn’t even bother telling him the real thing). I told him he might have dialled the wrong number, and he just hung up sharpish. I could hear a busy call centre in the background the whole time. Definitely one of those dodgy scam calls.
