8 yearsGot a call claiming to be from BT saying my internet was at risk. They went on about it being their duty to help me fix it for free, telling me to change my settings with their assistance. Total nonsense if you ask me. I asked for a contact number so I could double-check with BT, planning to ring back. Sneaky trick though, their number looked just like BT’s 0800800150 but started with a 1 instead of a 0, so definitely not a free call and probably racking up your bill while stealing info. Don’t fall for these muppets, seriously. We’re smarter than that.BT8 yearsI got a call, sounded like it was from BT, saying my line was at risk or something like that. It was one of those overseas numbers and they told me to press 1 or 2 for more info. I just ignored those options and went with option 3 basically - I hung up straight away.BTSubmit Your Own Report (800800150)
