Got a call from some robotic voice, didn’t say a word, and the call just dropped. Headed here right away to see what it was about.

Received a phone call from a number that claimed to be from the US. They were trying to push Norton antivirus protection on me, which was strange because my Norton subscription is already active and set to renew by itself. Pretty sure it was just some scam.

Got a call from this number yesterday evening, right after I’d just been chatting with Norton support online. Didn’t pick up. If they really needed to get hold of me, they surely have other ways, like emailing - that’s how they usually send their renewal reminders anyway. Seems like a legit number, but I’m still wary about picking up calls from abroad that I’m not expecting.

This number rang me a couple of times yesterday evening, but I didn’t pick up since the number wasn’t one I recognised and I was a bit wary. Earlier, I was actually chatting with someone from Norton support to fix a problem, and our call got disconnected just as they’d helped me sort it out but before we’d fully finished. Thanks to the feedback here, I’m somewhat relieved it was probably Norton calling back. Still, I’ll play it safe and not ring them back, and I’m going to remove the number from my contacts.

Got a call from Norton on +1 800-543-3562, trying to get me to sign up again after I cancelled. Customer service was asking for £94.99 instead of the £39.99 that was supposed to be the deal. Hopefully they’ve got the message now??

Even after I unsubscribed and raised a complaint, Norton just won’t stop spamming me. They’re really persistent about pushing that renewal, it’s quite annoying.

Had a frustrating run-in with Norton’s Live Chat support for my antivirus, which ended with me just leaving the chat out of annoyance. Soon after, this number rang me up. At first, I was quite wary about picking up, but it quickly became clear it was the Norton Helpdesk calling. Seems like this number is legit after all.

Got two calls back to back, only a minute or so apart. Nobody said a thing when I answered. So yeah, sounds like you’ve got the right idea about who called.
