I got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon, telling me that someone had bought an iPhone on my account for £799. They asked me to read out a code they sent me, and as I slowly repeated it back, the caller started getting really pushy. They also claimed that the person who supposedly hacked my Amazon account had wiped out all the order history, which is why I couldn’t find any evidence on my end. Plus, I never received any email from Amazon, so I’m pretty sure this was just a scam.
