This number +18000328354 called me and said they were from Tesco Mobile. A couple of days before, I had gotten a text from them saying they'd be ringing soon. Feels like a spam call to me.

A couple of days back, I received a text claiming Tesco Mobile, which is actually my provider, would ring me about a special deal. Then this number called me, but it’s clearly a scam. For one, I’m based in the UK. I’m always wary and look up any unknown numbers before picking up since I get loads of calls like this every year.

I got a call from this number and it turns out it’s Tesco Mobile’s sales crew. Weirdly, even though it’s meant to be a free 0800 number, it showed up on my phone as coming from the States with a +1800 prefix instead. A few days before, they actually sent me a text saying to look out for a call from this number about something I’d asked about.
