I told them I don’t have internet and they were quite rude about it.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT, saying they needed to look into a modem issue. The funny thing is, we don’t even have BT as our provider.

Somebody called claiming to be from British Telecom, but I told them I was actually with Sky. They said it didn't matter and insisted they were in charge of my internet and needed stuff like my IP address. I told them to stop bothering me, and after that they got pretty rude. Definitely don’t share any info with these people, seems like they could be up to something dodgy, maybe trying to hack you or whatever.
