Had someone claiming to be from IT support call me, so I told her maybe she should find a real job. Then she rang back and said I was being rude! Honestly, nerve of some people!

Call protect blocked them straight away, which was really helpful. Seems like the new U.K. rules from 08.09.18 haven’t quite got through to the international companies yet. Cheers B.T. for the protection!

They said they were IT support but as soon as I started asking questions they just cut the call. Total scam, no doubt about it!

Got a call from someone who sounded Indian or maybe Pakistani, trying to sell me some service for my computer. Told him I don't even own a PC, and he started swearing at me like mad. Honestly, these kinds of calls should be stopped for good!

Got a call earlier today at 10:51, said hello a few times but no answer, so I just ended the call.

I just got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from something like the "IT cybercrime unit". She told me that apparently someone had bought a phone using my info earlier today, around 8 in the morning. When I asked her which company or organisation's IT department she was with, she dodged the question and tried to steer the conversation elsewhere. Then she wanted me to verify my name, but she didn’t even have it right. She seemed quite annoyed when I hesitated, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was ringing from London, although my phone showed it as an international number. He said someone in Scotland had hacked my PC. When I asked if he even knew where Scotland was, he just rambled on about sending me messages. Then I questioned how he'd sent messages without knowing my email, and he said they went straight to my computer. I joked if he worked for Star Trek. He didn’t like that, asked why I was being rude, so I told him he was talking nonsense and hung up. Blocked the number now.

So this guy with an Indian accent rings me up saying he’s from IT support and that some bloke from Scotland was trying to hack into my computer. Told him to piss off straight away. Then he calls again, saying some Scottish fella was holding my computer hostage for £600. Told him the same thing, to get lost.

This bloke kept ringing me for a few days and was pretty annoyed I didn’t pick up. When I asked why he was calling, wouldn’t tell me anything about it being about a laptop or whatever. Then he just called me a liar and ended the call. Weird experience.
