The general feeling is to just ignore and hang up without engaging.

5 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were BT, warning me I’d get cut off. It kicked off with a robotic male voice, then switched to a lady’s voice that sounded, to me, like it might be Asian. I ended up listening to the menu options about four times, hanging on for a real person to show up - but nope, never happened. Apparently, from what I saw on ‘Who Called Me…’, the number might be from Dominica. I get that big firms often outsource their call centres, but I doubt BT does it that far abroad. My advice?
