An individual with a distinct Indian accent, who identified himself as David, phoned me claiming to be from Microsoft and mentioned that I was experiencing issues with my computer. I informed him that I don't own a computer, and promptly ended the conversation. He had the audacity to ring me back immediately, inquiring as to why I had terminated the call. I firmly told him not to contact me again and mentioned that I would be reporting his number. His response was a casual “good luck” before he hung up once more. Clearly a scam!

Received a missed call on my landline from this number. Did a bit of digging online and found it to be linked to a computer scam - you know, the classic 'your Windows has issues' nonsense. I've had my fair share of these calls! I’ve now blocked the number using BT's 1572 service.

Got a missed call from this number earlier, so I checked it on three different sites. Found one close to it where they said I had an issue with Windows, which was odd since I don’t even own a PC! Ended up blocking the number using BT 1573. Pretty fishy if you ask me.

They said they were with Windows tech support but this guy's actually calling from the U.S. Definitely a scam, don't fall for it.

Got a call about 10 in the morning, some bloke with a strong Indian accent saying he was from Windows computer support. Just another rip-off artist having a go at scamming folk.

Received a call round 12:45 this afternoon. Woman with an Asian accent said her name was “Carol Williams” and she was from “Windows,” talking about my computer. I cut her off right away and told her I’m on the TPS list, so this call shouldn’t be happening, and asked her to take our number off her records. She just said “hmm” before I ended the call.

As soon as I asked if it was Mr Senior or Junior he wanted, he just dropped the call. He never even said who he was! I probably should've ended it before he did.

The bloke spoke in a weird accent, not Indian or anything like that, and asked for me by my name. When I said I was someone else, he just cut the call straight away.

Got a call from a woman with a thick Asian accent claiming her name was Carol Williams (sure, whatever!) saying she was from Windows about my computer. I just said, like I always do, "I don't own a computer" and ended the call.

I hurried to pick up the phone and when I answered, there was just silence. So frustrating!

Received a phone call from someone named David, who had a strange accent, claiming to be from a Windows tech support team about a computer issue. I kept telling him that Microsoft has made it clear they don’t contact customers like this, and kept asking him which company he was actually with. He just wouldn't say and kept accusing me of being impatient. I told him I’m not interested in dealing with unfamiliar firms and then he abruptly ended the call. Definitely a rip-off. I’ve blocked the number through BT now.

Got a call with some kind of virus scam, they kept saying my Windows was infected and telling me to press keys on my keyboard. When I asked what the message said, they just replied “off” or something like that. Definitely dodgy!
