It’s awful how these people prey on older folks like that - I bet loads of elderly people would hit 1 without even thinking twice. They really are the lowest of the low.

I ended the call straight away. When I looked at my bank accounts, nothing was missing. Probably, if I’d stayed on the phone, they’d try to get me to talk to a “representative” who’d then ask loads of personal info and eventually steal money from me. Definitely dodgy and best to ignore.
