Got a call from a woman, sounded Asian, saying I was owed about £200 back or something. When she started asking for my date of birth, I just hung up straight away. Seemed like the usual scam, similar to what others have mentioned.

As soon as I picked up, the call ended almost instantly, but I caught a faint noise that reminded me of a busy call centre in the background. I'm sure it's one of those scams where they expect you to return the call at an expensive number, probably found by digging up their digits through 1471. Not happening here, not falling for these crooks!

When I answered, the caller just said "goodbye" right away. Pretty weird and left me hanging.

Like others mentioned, I was told by a polite lady with an Indian accent that I was owed £202 back. She actually knew my name and address and wanted to send me a cheque, but I wasn’t feeling that so suggested they just credit my account instead to take it off my bill. She didn’t seem too happy about that and after a bit of back and forth, she gave up and just ended the call. I had to push quite a bit to even get her to say who owed me the money - eventually, she said it was something to do with telephone charges, but she never explicitly said BT.

I'm absolutely fed up with the incessant calls from this number. It's completely unfamiliar to me, and they never bother to leave any voicemail, regardless of the time of day.

Got a call from 001736805711, some Indian lady on the line claiming I was owed £202 back from BT. She even mentioned my address but then asked for my date of birth, which I didn’t give her. After that, she tried to ask if I had a bank card, and that’s when I just ended the call. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

There was a lot of noise in the background, sounded like a call centre. A woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from the "refund team" said BT had overcharged me by £202 and wanted to refund it. When she asked for my date of birth, I asked for the date of the supposed overcharge, and she just said "ages ago". I told her I needed more specifics as I'd never had any service with BT. Got a call from this number on December 3rd around half past three in the afternoon. I let it go to voicemail, but there was no message left. After reading some other reviews, I decided to block the number. Cheers!

This bloke had a strong Indian accent, and I could hear loads of other voices in the background, making it tricky to make out what he was saying. He reckoned I was owed a refund from Sky, which is odd because I haven’t had an account with them for ages. When he asked for some personal info to sort out the credit, I said no, and he just cut me off while I was still on the phone. Proper dodgy.

I got a call from this number just now. It was a guy with a strong Indian accent, really hard to make out what he was saying. He told me I was owed a refund of £202 but asked for some personal info first. He did say he already had my address, which was odd. When I told him it was a load of rubbish and called him out for scamming, he just cut the call straight away.
