Just like a lot of others here, they said £600 was withdrawn from my account and to press 1!! I definitely didn’t do that! They’ve called me two times so far today.

Got a call from a lady saying she was with Visa, mentioned there was a suspicious charge of £600 on my account and told me to press 1 to talk to someone about it. Honestly, I couldn’t believe it and just ended the call straight away.

I just got a call from 001782321720 with a recorded voice claiming that my bank account had a suspicious withdrawal of £600. They asked me to press 1 if I wanted to chat to somebody about it... sounded fishy to me.

Got a call from 001736786190 with some automated voice talking about an unauthorised payment of £600 being taken from my bank account, telling me to press 1 to talk to someone. Do you think I pressed 1? Not a chance! Then I heard BT saying to hang up. If BT can tell these calls are dodgy, why don’t they just block them straight away? They’re probably too slack to bother. Proper annoying.

Just like many others, the caller said £600 was charged on my Visa card and told me to press 1 to talk to an agent. No chance. The number’s from the US.
