Had a call from a lady with an Indian accent, the connection was awful and she just kept saying she couldn’t remove my number from their list. She told me, “Sorry madam, it’s my job to ring you every single day!” When I asked for her manager, she wouldn’t put me through and kept talking about sending forms for me to fill in. She seemed a bit shocked that I didn’t want the call in the first place.

Some bloke from India kept ringing me up about some supposed PPI money I supposedly owed. When I said that wasn’t the case, I just hung up on him. No sooner had I done that, he called right back and started swearing at me! I told him I was recording the call and had tracking set up on my phone, and that I’d be contacting his firm through my lawyer. Since then, I haven’t heard a thing from them. :)

Got a call from a bloke in India saying I’d borrowed £5,000 from Lloyds, paid PPI, and was owed £14,000. Seemed alright at first 'cos he had my correct name and address, but it was all a load of rubbish.

So, this number rang me up today, right? I asked if I’d requested the call and the bloke just started shouting all sorts at me, calling me a f######9 b****. Pretty nasty. Now I’ve got this super loud whistle ready and waiting for any more rubbish calls like that!

I told the bloke to remove my number and never ring me again. Just about five minutes later, he rings back making weird sounds and then yells "F##K You!" Proper nasty bunch, calling back just to be rude. Total muppets.

Got a call where there was complete silence at first, but you could actually hear someone chatting about lunch orders from the other side? Sounds dodgy to me, probably some sort of scam. Total muppets.

This annoying person won't stop ringing me. Does anyone know if there’s any recent law that actually helps stop these calls? I’m curious about what protections we’ve got now in the UK against these scam calls. I’ve tried reporting some numbers to Action Fraud before, but not sure what impact that has. Can anyone shed some light on what happens after you report?
