Got four calls from a number I didn’t recognise, looking like a scam to me.

I never picked up but they rang me like four times in just a couple of minutes. I usually don’t bother with numbers I don’t know showing up on my screen.

Got calls almost every day for weeks from someone who sounded like they were from India or Pakistan, saying they were from Talktalk and that my internet was having issues. Now it's like 3 times a week I get these calls. When I tell them to quit trying to scam folks, some of them get pretty rude.

Got a call from a guy with an asian accent claiming to be from talktalk, said my server was acting up. I just played along but when he started asking me to press random keys on the keyboard, I asked if he wanted my bank info next. After that, I just told him to bugger off in a kinda quick, snappy way.

This number keeps bugging me just like 01391733928 and other private numbers. They claim to be calling from BT, but I don’t even use BT as my provider. I’ve picked up a couple of times and told them to stop yet they still keep ringing my landline... I’ve had about 6 calls from them this afternoon alone.

The first person to ring me today was a young woman who claimed I could reclaim payments from local banks for mis-sold PPI. Since I've never had PPI, I just hung up straight away. Later on, the second call came from the number above. The caller said they were with BT and spoke about ongoing nuisance calls that supposedly should’ve stopped by the 1st of April. They mentioned it was a serious issue in my area. Although they knew I pay BT via Direct Debit, they demanded my credit card details to “confirm” my identity. I wasn’t having any of it and ended the call pretty quickly.

was on a ladder putting up wallpaper when the phone rang. they claimed to be from talk talk, but ive just cancelled my contract with them. when i was a customer i kept getting these scam calls non-stop, then it stopped for a while. now that i’ve left, the scam calls have come flooding back like crazy. makes me wonder if my info got passed around somewhere. soon i’ll have no choice but to tell them off with plenty of strong language. it’s honestly so annoying. why dont these people get a legit job instead of this rubbish?

I got a call from this number twice today, once earlier and then again just a few minutes ago. Didn't know who it was, so I didn't pick up. They also left no voicemail either time.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, who claimed there was a problem with my internet. When I asked where she was calling from, she said the UK, but the number made it obvious she wasn’t really local. I just told her to shove off and hung up straight away.
