Got a call from an Indian woman claiming to be from a Windows service centre, saying my computer was hacked from multiple places around the globe. She tried to give me a license number but I didn’t even let her finish. Told her I’d sort it if there was a real problem, but she kept pushing and wouldn’t hang up. They kept ringing me again and again, so I just told them to get lost.

They said they were calling from eir and tried to trick me into letting them get into my computer files, saying there were some changes needed on my network! Totally dodgy.

I didn’t want to talk to her at all, but she kept calling me. She rang back three times one after the other. I ignored her the last couple of calls.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Microsoft, saying my computer was hacked. They wanted me to verify my info or else my licence would be cancelled. I just told them to cancel it then.
