Got a call from a lady claiming to be with the Telephone Preference Service. I played along for a bit, but she soon figured out I was just messing about and ended the call.

Got a call from a bloke with an accent, really polite and chatty, asking if my elderly mum wanted to get rid of annoying calls. She said yes, not knowing any better. He called a few times and even convinced her to share the first four numbers of her debit card. It only clicked later that it was a con. He rang again a couple of days after, which really worried her. These scammers need to be dealt with for good.

I got a call from a guy who sounded Asian and said he was from the top call blocking company in the UK. The minute I told him I’m already on the telephone preference service, he just ended the call.

Got a few calls from this number, but I always let it ring out. Think it’s just one of those pesky cold callers. Best to ignore it.

Some bloke with an Asian accent rang me claiming he worked for BT, which isn’t even my provider. He said he could help block scam calls from coming through, but then asked for my bank card info. I told him no way, and he kept insisting that the card was how he could get in touch with my actual phone company to sort out the nuisance calls. I wasn’t having any of it and denied giving any details.

On the 27th of April 2018, I got a call from an Asian lady claiming she was helping to stop unwanted calls. She wanted my credit card info, said loads of people nearby had already agreed. I just hung up straight away.

I got a ring from some bloke called John, sounded Asian, saying he was from Telephone Preference Management about stopping annoying calls. I said, “Yeah, like this one right now,” and then he just put the phone down on me.

Got a call from some Asian guy claiming to be from "telephone preference management" checking if I get unwanted calls. I said the only unwanted calls I get are from dishonest Asians like himself, and he just dropped the phone!

I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who claimed to be from the telephone preference service, saying he wanted to talk about all the random calls I'd been getting. When I asked why his number was from the US if he was supposed to be in the UK, specifically Oxfordshire, he didn't have a proper answer. So I just ended the call.

A guy with an Asian accent rang me claiming his name was Roy and said he wanted to speak to me personally. He said he was from the CPS and mentioned I’d been getting some nuisance calls. When I asked how he got my details, he said something about the TPS telling him to get in touch. But then, as soon as I asked where he was calling from, he just stopped making sense and put the phone down!

I got a call at around 8:15 in the morning from someone claiming to be CPS, saying they could help me stop all these annoying calls. They tried to put me through to their manager, but just as that was happening, the manager apparently had to dash to a meeting and promised to ring me back within a couple of hours. I just told them to forget it and hung up.

This has gotta be the exact same voice from about a hundred calls I've gotten before, all coming from an Asian lady apparently offering some sort of service to block calls like hers! Keeps ringing again and again.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, she wanted to speak to whoever owns the number. My missus told her I wasn’t there, then the line just cut off. This happened on 10/04/18.

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent who was telling me she was worried about all the spam calls I keep getting. I told her to quit calling me then, and suddenly the phone just went silent.
