Blimey, just got a call from BT's so-called tech team saying if I don't 'press 1' to chat with someone, my internet will be cut off for good. It’s so bloody annoying - the robotic voice sounds like some dodgy pop star pretending to be helpful. Tempted to give them a proper earful, but probably safer to just end the call. These types ring me up all the time, sometimes twice a day.

If you get a call from options 1 or 2, they're likely trying to get you to ring an overpriced number back - best just to put the phone down!

They claimed to be from BT support, but since we don’t use BT, that was a lie. They tried to scare me by saying my service would be cut off straight away just to cause panic.

These lot have called me before. I usually just ignore the rubbish and let the phone sit there while they talk, hoping they end up with a huge bill from me.
