I've been getting calls on my business line from some call centre that sounds Indian, always asking for the owner. I've told them to quit calling loads of times but they just don't take the hint. Honestly, they're so pushy and really irritating!

My phone buzzed and when I finally answered, the line rang again and a bloke with a strong Asian accent tried telling me his name was "Paul." I just laughed and said, “No way your name’s Paul,” then I dropped the call. Honestly, what a load of absolute muppets - had me chuckling for ages afterwards.

My phone buzzed, but all I heard was silence followed by some clicking noise and another ring with office chatter in the background, so I just ended the call. Then, it happened again almost right away. This time, a woman with an Indian accent said she was calling from Tradefinder and asked to speak to the business owner. I told her I had no idea what she meant and said thanks before hanging up. They called me back straight away again, but I didn't bother answering.

This number has rung us a couple of times already. What really worries me is that as soon as you answer, the call drops almost immediately. I was half thinking it might be one of those sneaky scams that end up costing you money on your phone bill.

so i asked who the boss was coz it sounded fishy from the start, then tried to get a number to ring back. after nagging a bit they gave me a company name and a phone number for discount telephones - 07447451111. might have to give them a little harassment call for fun lol!

On Thursday, the 11th of May, I received a call that began with a brief jingle before the standard ringing sound. When the caller finally spoke, I could tell he was communicating in English, but his accent was so pronounced that I struggled to grasp what he was trying to convey. I mentioned that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service and promptly hung up. I can't help but wonder if this was some sort of scam where they expect the recipient to foot the bill!

Cheap phone calls? More like a load of rubbish. If I ever ended up running things, my very first rule would be to make these jokers reveal their real info and blast it all over the internet. Then everyone could have a go at pestering them - maybe ring up and chat in a posh English accent, saying your name's Bupinderjarinderpal just for a laugh!

I got a call from this number with an Asian accent, asking for the owner of a business. I politely declined and put the phone down.

Got a call from a bloke named Charlie, with a really thick Asian accent. He claimed he wasn’t trying to sell me anything but kept fishing for details about me and my workplace. It felt like he was gathering info to pass on to others who’d hassle you non-stop. He asked loads of questions which he kinda already knew the answers to. When I refused to give my full name, he just hung up on me abruptly. Watch out for that one!

My work phone just keeps ringing non stop, its really tying up the line all the time.

Someone said they were from the Google directory and I told them not to ring me anymore. No sooner had I hung up than they were calling again. I told them once more to stop, but they phoned straight back again. Proper annoying!
