I've received a couple of calls from this number this week, claiming to be from Virgin Media. They kept insisting I should log into my account online. I mentioned that everything was fine on my end, and then they just hung up! Quite peculiar, isn't it?

Got a call from someone saying they were Virgin Media telling me there was some issue with my broadband. They kicked off by saying they needed to access my router because apparently, there was a problem reported. I told them, "Actually, I'm a Data Engineer, you sure you want to go ahead with this chat?" After that, I could hear a bit of a heavy sigh and a quiet "Oh, no" before the line just went dead. I double-checked my router and found nothing wrong, did a speed test too and everything was running as usual. Feels like it might have been a dodgy call to me.

I received a call that purported to be from Virgin Media, claiming there was an issue with my broadband service. The chap on the other end kicked things off by saying they needed access to my account as they'd received a report indicating some trouble with my router. I interjected, saying, "Just so you’re aware, I work as a Data Engineer; do you still wish to proceed?" At that moment, I heard a rather pronounced sigh followed by a half-hearted "Oh, no," before he hung up on me! I subsequently checked my router, and there’s no sign of any problem whatsoever. I even ran a speed test, and everything's perfectly normal - not a hint of issues on my end!

Finally, someone’s taking action against these annoying calls. I get about two or three every week, usually from someone with an English name like Alex but an Asian accent, claiming to be from Virgin Media. I always hang up straight away, but I reckon some people who aren’t as careful might fall for it. I’ve got a call blocker too, but they just switch numbers all the time, so it hardly helps.

They keep ringing me in the early morning, which I guess is daytime over in the States. It's driving me mad now. I've even had to take my phone out of my bedroom just so I don't get bothered. Proper annoying!

This number rang me twice today, first a guy who said his name was Dave, sounded like he might've had an Asian accent. When he called again and said he was Alvin, I told him straight up I knew it was a con. Didn’t bother talking to him on the second call, just hung up.

Twice today this number rang me claiming to be from Virgin Media, telling me to check my computer because it was supposedly downloading files. I contacted Virgin Media myself and found out it was a scam. 0016507128611
