Got a call asking if I was the main user of a Windows PC, which I don’t even have. I told them straight away that I don’t own one and asked them to remove me from their call list. I could hear they were still on the line but said nothing back. Then I asked again if they heard me, and the caller said yes. So I repeated that I don’t have a Windows computer and wanted confirmation they’d taken me off their list. Still no reply, but the call didn’t end. Feels like one of those scams trying to catch you agreeing on a recorded call.

I got really stressed thinking I might’ve been hacked. This guy called and said he could sort it out for me. I kept him chatting for ages, going in circles. Bit of a sketchy vibe, sounded just like one of those dodgy boiler room scams.
