They’re just after your cash, so don’t give them an inch at all. I told them outright “Who’s this then?” and when they said Microsoft, I wasn’t having it. I asked if they really thought I had a computer - obviously nope. Then I flipped it back: “Do you have a computer while I’m still on the line?” That’s when the tosser hung up. There is always an incessant Chinese voice that keeps calling, even though I have just hung up the phone upon hearing it again.

They have been consistently calling me every day this week. When I ask them who they are, they refuse to answer but inquire if I happen to be Mrs. ....., showing a lack of privacy awareness. I inform them that it is a personal line and they have no valid reason for calling it. I go on and ask if they are attempting to sell me something, but they deny it, insisting that they only want to have some questions answered. On other occasions, they simply hang up without saying anything. I have been attempting to report this harassment as potential fraud, but unfortunately, the authorities responsible for handling such cases are unresponsive and fail to answer their phones.

Received a call today at 9:25am in which the caller asked specifically for me. I politely inquired if the purpose of the call was to conduct a survey, to which I received a negative response. Next, I asked if he was attempting to sell me something, once again receiving a negative answer. Out of curiosity, I then asked if he was offering any kind of free money, but the response was also negative. Considering his answers were all "No," I apologized and ended the call. It was quite refreshing to receive 'No's rather than persistent attempts to persuade or coerce me into something.

We keep receiving calls from a particular number, with the person on the other end asking for a Mrs. Hutchinson who apparently resides at Lancaster Drive in Wallsend. They claim that this number was recycled by BT, but regardless of my wife's repeated explanations that neither the person nor the address they are looking for is associated with this number, the calls persist. Even after switching to Sky, we continue to receive these unwanted calls. Today, I couldn't hold back my frustration and ended up giving them an earful despite my wife being the one who answered the phone. This situation has become extremely tiresome for me.

Today at 12:38pm, I received a phone call that lasted four rings. Upon answering, there was silence on the other end for about two seconds before the call abruptly ended, as if the caller had hung up. Interestingly, I experienced a similar call on Tuesday afternoon as well as other occasions where the phone would ring but no one would respond, leaving behind no trace of their number. Had a call from someone who sounded Asian, asked to talk to me but didn’t say who they were. When I asked who was calling, they just hung up. Found the number using 1471 and noticed they keep ringing every hour starting at 9am. I’m registered with the TPS, so I’m not sure why I’m still getting these calls. Recently, I had a supposed bailiff scammer phoning for a couple of days, threatening me, and I reported it to the police. Could be related somehow, maybe those scammers passed my details on, but I really don’t know.
