They’re just after your cash, so don’t give them an inch at all. I told them outright “Who’s this then?” and when they said Microsoft, I wasn’t having it. I asked if they really thought I had a computer - obviously nope. Then I flipped it back: “Do you have a computer while I’m still on the line?” That’s when the tosser hung up. They want to get into your computer, probably to nick your bank details and cover their own dodgy calls. Do they seriously reckon we’re daft or what? 001636681192 <<<< what a shower of wankers.

I keep getting calls from a Chinese-sounding voice, even if I hang up right as I hear it. It’s like they just won’t stop ringing me.

They’ve been ringing me every single day all week. When I ask who’s calling, they just don’t say. Instead, they keep asking for Mrs... I tell them this is a private number and they shouldn’t be calling it at all. When I ask if it’s a sales call, they say no, just want to ask a few questions! Other times, they just cut me off. Tried to report it to the fraud folks, but no luck - nobody picks up at their end!

Got a call around 9.25 this morning someone asked straight away if I was [my name]. I wondered if it was one of those surveys, but he said no. Then I asked if he was trying to sell me something - again, no. Tried my luck and asked if it was some kind of free money offer, but still no. After three no's I just said cheers and hung up. Quite unusual to get nothing but nos from a caller!

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who asked if she was speaking to me (I confirmed my name). She never really said what the call was for, just hinted it wouldn’t take long. After a bit, I just muted and ended the call.

This number has been calling repeatedly, asking for a Mrs Hutchinson who supposedly lives on Lancaster Drive in Wallsend. I think BT must have handed out a recycled number because even though my wife has made it clear she's not who they're after and we don’t live at that address, the calls keep coming. We've switched over to Sky now, yet they haven’t stopped. Today I lost my cool and gave them a right telling off, even though it was my wife who answered. I'm proper fed up with the whole thing.

Someone rang me up using my name, asking if they were speaking to me. I didn’t answer straight away and instead asked who they were. He said his name was Lester. I then asked where he was calling from, but he told me it wasn’t important for me to know. When I insisted that I wanted to know, he just hung up on me.

Today, between noon and about 12:45, I had two calls pop up within just thirty minutes. Luckily, my call blocker stopped them both, but it’s so frustrating these annoying calls are even allowed to happen. I worry especially about older folks who might get distressed if they answer these kinds of scammy calls.

Today at around 12.38pm, my phone rang four times before I picked up, but when I did, it was silent for a couple of seconds and then the call ended straight away, as if the caller hung up. Something similar happened on Tuesday afternoon too, plus other times where the phone rings but no one speaks, and no number appears on the screen. We’re meant to be ex-directory, so I’m baffled as to how our number got out there. This feels like a serious breach of data privacy to me.

Had a call from someone who sounded Asian, asked to talk to me but didn’t say who they were. When I asked who was calling, they just hung up. Found the number using 1471 and noticed they keep ringing every hour starting at 9am. I’m registered with the TPS, so I’m not sure why I’m still getting these calls. Recently, I had a supposed bailiff scammer phoning for a couple of days, threatening me, and I reported it to the police. Could be related somehow, maybe those scammers passed my details on, but I really don’t know.

Got a call from a guy who sounded Asian. When I asked what the call was about, he said something like home living or house living. Then he went ahead and confirmed my name, address, and phone number. After that, he started asking stuff like if I rent my place. I asked why he needed that info since he said early on it wasn’t a sales call. When I didn’t want to answer, he became pretty pushy and annoyed. I do enter loads of online contests, so I’m guessing that’s where he picked up my details from.

I’ve gotten calls from this number two days in a row now, and they just hang up as soon as I pick up. Also, loads of calls come through showing “number unavailable” or from some overseas number, but as soon as I answer, they cut off and never bother to leave a message. Our number’s on the do not call list, but still they keep ringing non stop. It’s so frustrating, especially when you’re busy and have to stop what you’re doing to answer!
