My partner got a call from a person claiming to be from TalkTalk. They said there was an issue with the router and told her to check her computer. When she asked if she was even allowed to do that since the contract was under my name, the caller just ended the call!

Watch out - got a call claiming to be from TalkTalk, asking me to update my router info... but TalkTalk actually said they never call unless there's a problem you've already reported. If YOU get a call like this, don’t touch any settings. Instead, ring TalkTalk directly to check if it’s legit. They’ll confirm what I’m saying. Make sure you change any passwords and login info too. This scam is still going on and they're looking into it.
