I'm absolutely fed up with this number that's been calling me. Each time I pick up, they promptly disconnect! I've tried using 1471 to find out who it is, but when I dial the number back, they hang up right away. It’s maddening! There appear to be multiple complaints about this caller, so why isn't anything being done to put an end to this nuisance? Best, Anonymous

Got a call from some call centre claiming there’s an issue with our spot on Google Maps - what’s that all about? Didn’t even bother listening, just hung up straight away. Could hear loads of people chatting and phones ringing in the background. The number was 001615476231.

for the past few months, this number keeps ringing me like mad, at least three times daily! after seeing comments here saying it's some sort of reverse charge scam, i just stopped picking up. anyone know how i can block this annoying caller??

I've been receiving calls from this number for the last three to four weeks, typically at around half nine in the morning, one in the afternoon, or six in the evening. A couple of times, they even called at nine in the evening! Not once have they bothered to leave a message. When I attempted to call back using a withheld number prefix, it just kept me hanging on for about ten seconds before telling me that the number isn't recognised. After seeing what others have posted on your forum, I've made up my mind to block this number. The incessant ringing is rather distressing.

It appears they're attempting to gain entry to my computer again. It's all rather peculiar, something to do with Google Maps. This makes it the third occasion this week!

Managed to catch someone on the line today who attempted to say my company’s name, but completely messed it up! Told him to take my number off their list. Not holding my breath that it’ll actually happen though. My number’s on the telephone preference service, so it’s a bit annoying really.

It seems to ring 3 or 4 times today alone, not to mention several occasions in the past. Quite the persistent lot!

I decided to ring the number back, only to be greeted by a message stating that the number couldn’t be reached - a rather suspicious "please hang up and try again" response. To add to my unease, I later got a communication from Trustier cautioning me about the call! Quite the dodgy encounter!
