Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was from the fraud team and wanted to discuss my Mastercard (which I don’t even own). I told him I’d look into him and that I was putting the call through to the Met Police fraud division. He immediately just dropped the line!

I was out when this number rang me yesterday, no voicemail left or anything. I rang 1471 to find out who it was, and the operator said it’s this number and asked me to just hang up. Quite strange!

Got a call from this number around 7:50 in the morning. As expected, some dodgy security company was on about my credit card. I told "Max" quite clearly that I wasn't buying it, then just ended the call.

Got a call from some folks in the US but I didn’t pick up once I saw the number wasn’t local. Typical laziness, they didn’t bother to leave any message either, so nothing to worry about.

I got a call from this number on 19/11/19 around 10.12am. The person on the line didn’t know my name at all and had an Asian accent, not British. He said he was ringing from some security company and mentioned an issue with my credit card. I cut him off pretty quickly after realising it was probably a scam. After checking out the number, I’m glad I trusted my gut and didn’t go any further!

This bloke called me, said he was Jack from Barclays fraud team or something. As soon as I told him I was recording the call and it’d be used as proof, he just dropped the line. Definitely dodgy!

My elderly wife got a phone call from someone in the US talking about Mastercard and Visa cards. She said I normally handle those kinds of things and told them I wasn’t around right then, then just hung up.
