Its funny that no one has pointed out the call is actually from the US. Who in the States would ring up someone in the UK about pi? I don’t know a single person over there who’d call me now, so I’m guessing it’s either a wrong number or some sort of con like others have suggested. Nowadays, I just dodge any calls from unknown numbers and then look them up here if I’m curious.

I got a call saying I had nearly £3,800 in unclaimed PPI and that they’d be sending the cash straight to my home. Sounded dodgy to me, definitely felt like a scam! Watch out, don’t fall for it!

Got a really strange call about some cash ppi payment. It felt off, like something wasn’t right at all. Definitely seemed dodgy and made me quite suspicious. Very odd situation to say the least.

Got a call from someone sounding like they were from West Africa askin’ for “Mr John”. I told them they’d dialled the wrong number, then the call just suddenly dropped.

Got a call saying I'd made a PPI claim and was supposed to get around £3700. They said a courier would bring the money, but I had to pay them 10% as a fee when they arrived. I told them to just send the amount after the fee and the line went dead. Thing is, I've never even done a PPI claim before.
