Got a call from an Asian guy claiming he was with the Irish lottery. He asked if I’d entered the lottery a couple years ago, which I denied, and then he just ended the call. Decided to check the number because it didn’t feel legit.

Got a call with no sound, it was from Tyneside, around 8.37PM GMT on the 17th January 2023. Call just cut off suddenly.

Got a call from someone in Canada. Picked up and just told them to buzz off before I blocked the number. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

Got a call from a bloke claiming to be from the Irish lottery, said he was ringing from Vancouver but the number looked like it was from the States. He had a bit of a Canadian or American sounding accent. He tried to get me to sign up for some “syndicate” thing, said there were just two spots left for £8 a month. He went into loads of detail about how it supposedly increased my chances. Then he asked for my bank details, including card info. Seemed pretty dodgy to me.

Got a call from a bloke claiming he was calling from Vancouver about some Irish lottery thing. Sounded like he might have been Canadian or something. He said he was part of a syndicate with only two spots left and tried to convince me to join for £8 every month. Asked me for my bank card info but I told him straight up I don’t share that stuff over the phone.
