On the 15th of June around 10:15, I got a call from a man with an Asian accent who said his name was Michael and claimed to be from Talk Talk tech support. He sounded like he was just reading off a script and didn't even know my name. He told me there was a problem with my phone line and modem and that they needed to look into it. When I asked for more details about the supposed issue, he just kept repeating the same lines. It was clearly a dodgy call. Then at 10:45 the same day, the same number rang me again but there was no one there, just silence.

Today (14/06/17), I got a call from a woman named Susan claiming to be part of Talktalk's tech team. She told me that there was an attempt to hack into my internet and that my router was being targeted. Susan offered to help me resolve it. I told her I was busy with a visitor, so I had to hang up. She mentioned she'd ring back in about an hour. The number she called from was 001592615234.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Talk Talk, saying there was an issue because someone was trying to hack into my router. She asked if I wanted help fixing it. I wasn’t convinced it was genuine, so I just hung up. I’ve reported the number to Talk Talk as a possible scam.

If you don't use Talk Talk, watch out, they come off as total scammers. Even if you do have Talk Talk, somehow they still manage to be dodgy. I've had a few run-ins with them myself. Now I just reply with super brief, blunt words - works like a charm. BT does have a call-blocking thing you can try too. Or, if you're feeling cheeky, just keep 'em talking forever and drive them nuts. Haha!

Got a couple of calls earlier today (13/06/2017), but they didn’t bother leaving anything on my answer machine, which is always switched on. I thought my number was unlisted, so where on earth are they finding it? Oddly, some of you mention they say they’re from TalkTalk - which is funny because I actually am with TalkTalk. They were talking about some free call blocking offer coming up, but I’m not exactly sure what that involves.

This 001 592 615234 number has been ringing me loads, but whenever I pick up, no one says a word and then they just hang up. I reckon it’s connected to some dodgy Talk-Talk scam my mate mentioned. It’s really started getting on my nerves with these quiet calls happening like 3 or 4 times daily, from morning right through to the evening.

Over the extended Bank Holiday Weekend, I've been bombarded with calls from this number. My kids have strongly suggested that I don't pick up as it’s not one we’re familiar with. It’s rather irritating, to be honest. I caved in once and answered, only to be met by a rather heavy foreign accent that made it hard to follow what was being said. When I queried if he represented TalkTalk, he hesitated and eventually muttered an uncertain "yes." I reminded him that I’d been with TalkTalk before, had a rather unpleasant experience, and made it clear that I wanted nothing to do with them anymore - then promptly ended the call!

I’m so fed up with these annoying calls. Most of the time I just get silence when I pick up, but the other day some bloke claimed he was from TalkTalk - said his name was Gavin Henderson. Yeah, right! Kinda funny but also a bit annoying. Honestly considering getting rid of our landline since we mostly rely on mobiles now anyway.

Received a voicemail instructing me to ring another number, something like 1 800... to claim my refund. Not a chance! Clearly, it's just a bunch of fraudsters trying to take advantage of the unsuspecting.

Totally a scam! They tried to get me to install some remote access software, teamviewer or something like that, so they could control my computer. The lady on the phone had an Indian accent and sounded really suspicious. Just a heads up, teamviewer itself isn’t dangerous but those people were definitely up to no good.
