Earlier today, while I was in The Netherlands, I got a call from this number. I said "Hello" a couple of times, but all I could hear was some heavy breathing before they just hung up. What a weird experience, honestly.

Got a phone call from a really polite bloke with an Indian accent, sounded like he was working in some kind of call centre. He introduced himself and said he was ringing from Microsoft about an issue with my Windows PC. Thing is, I don't even have a Windows computer! As soon as I mentioned that, he abruptly cut the call. Just a heads up, Microsoft doesn’t call people out of the blue like that! Total scam if you ask me.

Today, this number rang me even though I'm signed up with TPS (but I doubt that stops them much). I ignored it and let my voicemail pick it up. A bloke with a foreign accent kept saying my name again and again until he noticed I wasn’t picking up. Next time, I’m thinking of answering just to mess with them - if it’s one of those automated scams, I’ll tell them to wait while I “boot up my computer” then chuck the phone in a drawer and enjoy a nice cup of tea.

Got a call early this morning around 8:24, guy said he was ringing from Microsoft. Started off by asking how I was, then went on about some problem with the software on my computer. I asked him how he could possibly know that and if he could get into my PC. Next thing, he just ended the call. Honestly don’t get why Microsoft isn’t stepping in to stop these dodgy calls.

Got a silent call at 8:10 this morning, just managed to catch a mumble before the line cut off. Lately, I've been getting loads of these weird calls early in the day, all around the same time.

Got a call around half past nine from some bloke called Patrick who claimed he was with Microsoft and said there was a problem with my computer. I played along for a while, then told him to send me the details of the fix by email and that I'd ring back after checking it out. He grumbled a bit and just ended the call.

I picked up the phone, but no one said a word, so I just ended the call and looked it up here. Cheers for the info - at least I’m prepared if they ring back.

I had just blocked another number that kept bothering me with calls, and then this one rings up! Once again, no one said anything when I picked up - so I shut it down straight away. So many muppets out there!

These calls really need to be banned. I got a call at 7:55 this morning, which I thought was just awful. We're pensioners, so getting a ring that early is just scary.

I had two calls from this number today. The first time I shut them down straight away, told them they were running a scam. When they called back, they started shouting at me in some language I couldn’t understand, then cut off before I could nicely tell them to leave me alone. Looks like the same dodgy scam from a few years back. They’re pretty sly but get nasty if you question them. Watch out, folks!

Got a call from someone claiming to be 'Microsoft', wanting to chat with the computer's owner. I asked which computer they meant since I was surrounded by about a hundred of them in the office. They quickly said, "Oh, this is a business? Sorry for disturbing you," and then just hung up. Pretty sure they didn’t fancy dealing with our IT team!

This number just rang me, claiming to be from Microsoft. When I asked who they wanted to speak with, the caller said they'd only be able to tell me after accessing my computer. Seriously, you'd think these scammers would get the hint by now! We get calls like this multiple times every single week. Need to look into getting a phone that can block unwanted calls soon!!!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft. I asked for their business info and said I’d verify it before continuing. The guy, who had an Indian accent, suddenly got quite aggressive, accusing me of not paying attention and asked why I was ignoring his ‘urgent’ message. I told him I’d report the number to the police, which seemed to make him even more hostile. I ended the call there. He rang back straightaway and started yelling at me for cutting him off! I told him it was a cold call, shouted back a bit, then hung up for good!

This morning around half past eight, this number popped up on my phone. I didn’t pick up because I had a feeling it was one of those dodgy calls. Seems like they’re just ringing any old numbers at work, no particular target.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from Microsoft. Best advice: don’t get angry or stressed. Instead, hit ’em where it hurts most - their earnings. These folks usually have quotas, so if you keep them hanging, they’ll struggle to reach their goals. Never let them take control of your PC, and for goodness’ sake, don’t hand over any bank or card info. Tell them your computer isn’t connected to the internet. And hey, try to be polite to the scammer - it’ll annoy them even more!

Just like others have said here, I got a call from an Asian guy claiming my computer had problems and that I needed to check it right away. Pretty obvious he was just trying to sneak in, trash my files, and then force me to pay to sort the issue out - or worse, steal my info to hack into my accounts. It’s a shame the providers don’t do more to block these scammers who target people and cause loads of worry.

Got a call from this number earlier today claiming to be Microsoft saying there was an issue with my internet. I told the guy to jog on, and he didn’t take it well at all. He kept ringing back, getting really rude each time. In the end, I had no choice but to unplug the phone to stop the hassle.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Microsoft. He flipped and started shouting all sorts of insults before hanging up. Was pretty entertaining, actually!

Got a call from this number first thing today. I picked up and there was complete silence, then they just ended the call. Whenever I get calls from unknown numbers, I usually look them up here, so cheers to all the people who share info. Since I got a new phone recently, I figured I’d try out the blocking feature - looked it up in the manual and blocked this number straight away.

I received a dodgy phone call claiming to be from Microsoft, supposedly concerning my computer. They’re trying to convince you to let them take over your device remotely, likely with the intent to scam you. Whatever you do, don’t get involved - just hang up and block that number immediately!

I got a call from someone saying she was Veronica Smith from Microsoft. She was going on about some computer issue that sounded like total rubbish. I said thanks and ended the call. Then she rang back almost straight away, very assertive this time, trying to force me to hear her out. I listened for a bit but it made no sense whatsoever, so I told her nicely and hung up again. She tried once more after that, but I just let it ring. Seriously, don't fall for this kind of scam!

Got a call from a weird foreign accent claiming to be Microsoft, so I just hung up straight away. Got a call from this number earlier today, but the voice was hard to make out and they mentioned something about my PC, so I just ended the call. Then a few hours later, they called back but dropped the line as soon as I picked up. Seems like they’re probably trying to verify my number and might ring again soon.

This number rang me three times today, each time roughly two hours apart. The caller said he was from Microsoft and that there were loads of error alerts coming from my computer, so he needed to sort it out. I told him I wasn’t convinced and asked for some kind of proof sent by email. He replied he couldn’t do that but insisted that if I let him log into my computer and entered some details he gave me, it would confirm he was legit and solve the 'issue'. He sounded really pushy and quite heavy-handed.

I got a call from this number at 9.13 on the 21st of Feb. Don’t understand how they managed to get hold of my number since I’m ex-directory. The person on the phone had such a thick accent it was really hard to catch what they were saying, but I think it was something related to Microsoft.

Today in the afternoon, I got a call from a bloke with an American accent claiming to be from Microsoft. He was asking to talk to the computer's owner, which was a dead giveaway it was a scam. I hung up straight away. If your phone shows the number, best to ignore it. This isn't the first time this number has popped up, so there should be a way to block it permanently.
