7 yearsJust like everyone else, got charged £600. Wish there was a way to block their number completely. What a joke!7 yearsAbout 30 minutes back, I got a call saying there was an urgent alert about a £600 charge on my Visa account. I never do any online banking, so all my stuff goes through fraud protection anyway. The call sounded robotic, like an automated message. The caller ID keeps changing. When I asked if this was the same person who scammed me before, the voice suddenly switched to an Asian accent. But as soon as I dropped the name, they laughed and switched to a thick South London accent. Definitely someone local pulling this stunt - probably the same crew that’s been at it for years.South London7 yearsGot a robo call saying it was Visa Secure, warning me about a dodgy £600 payment supposedly waiting to go through. Didn’t bother, just put the phone down straight away.Visa Secure7 yearsGot a call from this number and it showed as from overseas, which instantly made me wary. In the last couple of weeks, they've rang me from about five or six different numbers but it’s always the same dodgy scam. Proper sketchy stuff. I've blocked them all using BT call protect now.7 yearsJust like the other comments, got a call from the same number around 10:19 this morning.7 yearsLike loads of others, someone rang up saying it was Visa about £600 taken from my account - but I hadn't given the go ahead for that.
