someone called saying they were mike from bt tech support, but yeah, i knew that was rubbish!

This number has been ringing me quite a lot, always saying there's a problem with my internet. I've told them a few times that my broadband isn't with BT, but they either end the call abruptly or start going on about BT being the best broadband provider ever and that there's an issue with my line. Usually, they just cut off after that. They keep calling, sometimes even more than once a week, which is getting really annoying.

It was supposedly from BT, but as soon as I realised it was dodgy, the caller just cut me off.

Got a call from some bloke called Adam who claimed he was from BT, using that number. I didn’t buy it for a second. He asked for my account number but clearly didn’t know anything about it. Told him straight up he was a scammer and he just hung up - not that it stopped me from giving him a piece of my mind. Definately blocking that number. Avoid it folks.
