Got a call around 8:50 in the morning on 07/07/2018 from someone saying they were from TalkTalk's tech support. The person spoke with a thick foreign accent and told me they were running a system check and that my internet could be down for a couple of days. I nearly told them how many gadgets we have, but then it clicked that this might be dodgy. I asked if there was actually an outage and they said no, nothing reported. In the end, they said they’d set up some CallSafe thing for us. Blocked the number straight away! What a joke!
