A call from this number attempted to reach my elderly mother and father, but fortunately, their call blocker intercepted it, causing the caller to hang up. As a result, my parents' phone didn’t ring, so they were blissfully unaware of the whole situation, which is a relief! I discovered the number on the online call log. Got this call from someone with an Asian accent claiming there was an issue with my internet. I wasn’t having any of it and told him to jog on with some not so polite words. Pure scam, don’t fall for it!

They rang me up twice and it was clearly a scam. I mentioned it to my son, he works at Openreach and said one of his colleagues got the same call. The engineer kept the scammer chatting while he traced the call back to Pakistan. Then he threw the scammer off by giving them the address they were supposedly calling from, and said the police were on their way. After that, the caller started swearing and there was a lot of noise before the line went dead. Scammers got beaten by Openreach this time!

Somebody rang up saying they were from BT, warning our internet service would get cut off. My missus picked up and was very polite about it, I probably would have blown them away with my response! Such a bloody nuisance these scammers are.

This person said they were calling from Apple, but I don't think that was true at all. Seemed like a total scam to me. They kept pushing for my details, which felt really dodgy. Definitely wouldn't trust anyone who rings up saying it’s Apple!

Got a call from someone saying they were from 'BT' and threatening to shut off my phone in 4 hours - rubbish as usual. Honestly, I’m grateful ’cause at least that means no more calls from them, which is better than what Call Guardian does LOL.

Got calls from 00153246710 a couple of times lately. Luckily, we have an answer machine on, so we only pick up if we recognise the number, like family or mates. These callers never bother leaving a message, which makes it easier to ignore them. A few months back, I almost fell for a scammer pretending to be from Microsoft, but they gave themselves away when they started asking about my bank details. Honestly, something really needs to be done to put an end to this kind of thing.

This number rings me all the time and I usually mess about with whoever’s on the other end, but last time they got rude and I had to stop answering. You can’t block it with just normal call blocking, you’ve got to do a selective block. Contact your phone company and ask them for the special number to block it right after the call comes through.

I knew almost instantly it was a dodgy call when some robotic voice with an Asian accent started telling me my BT broadband would be cut off. Didn’t hang about, just ended the call sharpish. Just another load of scammers messing about.

Honestly, I wouldn’t pick up if I were you. These calls are so irritating and they keep saying they’re from BT, but obviously they’re not! It’s crazy that no one’s figured out a way to put an end to these nuisance calls yet.

I get calls from these muppets pretty much every day - they’re either trying to get into your PC or looking for your bank or credit card info. If so many people have reported them, how come nobody’s sorted it out yet? It’s ridiculous!

Got a robocall that said it was from BT warning our internet would be cut off today - they told me to press 1 to fix the problem or 2 to disconnect. I don’t get what they’re hoping to get out of it? Like others have said, after that weird pause, I got this automated lady’s voice warning me my internet would be cut off unless I pressed a number. Total scam, for sure. I just hung up straight away.
