Got a call from this bloke who claimed he could put an end to all my annoying calls. He wanted me to confirm my bank card details first. I asked him to tell me my card number so I could double check, but he didn’t like that one bit and kept nagging for the info. He was getting more and more shaky trying to wrest it out of me, so I just told him to jog on and bother someone else instead.

Don’t pick up if they ring you, they actually took money out of my bank without me saying yes. After that, they kept calling non stop and got really pushy! Just ignore and hang up.

Similar to what others have said here, a woman with an accent that sounded Asian offered to put an end to all my spam calls. However, when I wouldn't share my credit card info, she didn't seem too pleased about it.

so this guy, sounded like he was from asia, called me saying he could end all those annoying robocalls forever. he took his time verifying my phone and address but as soon as he asked me how to say my name and i just told him to say it any way he wanted, he suddenly dropped the call. guess the scammers just aren’t as sharp as they used to be.

A couple of days ago I got a call from these lot. They asked me for my bank card details, claiming there was an issue with my data. The person said he was from BT, but I told him I’m actually with a different provider. After that, he just ended the call. Very dodgy if you ask me.

Had one of those usual calls from some Indian guys claiming my TalkTalk router was sending out viruses. They got me to check the event viewer on my PC, pointed at all the normal error messages and said they were malware. Then they wanted me to go to some site called support dot me. After I kept dodging them, they pushed for me to download TeamViewer. Both of those things would've let them properly hack into my computer and grab everything, like saved passwords and personal data. Proper scam in my book.

They claimed they were trying to help me avoid strange calls, but then went on to ask for my bank card details to verify.

Got a call from them but they just dropped it straight away, total annoyance.

started getting daily calls from this lot claiming they’ll stop nuisance calls. I told them the only pest was their own calls. An Indian woman then put me through to her boss to prove she wasn’t some scammer from overseas. When the bloke picked up, I said “this is the windows tech team” and he just hung up straight away!
