This number rang and I answered it, but the area code looked unfamiliar. So I just let the answering machine take the call. Right when the message kicked in, the person ended the call straight away.

Got a call from this number but all I heard was an automated voice saying "thank you, goodbye" then it just cut off. Pretty weird, no-one actually spoke.

Got a call this morning around 9:30, the person said they were Microsoft support and claimed my PC had dangerous software being downloaded. When I asked for details about the supposed programs, they just cut off the call. These scam calls are super common now - they try to get access to your computer to nab your personal info. Best to not share anything and definitely don’t let them onto your machine.

Received a call that seemed to be from overseas. I chose not to pick up and have subsequently blocked the number on my device. Glad to see my instincts were spot on! 😄

Got a call from a guy with a thick African accent, claiming there was an issue with my Windows computer. I told him I wasn’t interested in chatting and hung up straight away.

Some bloke calls saying he’s from the Windows tech team, then just hangs up on me. Obviously, marked the number as spam straight away. Told him flat out, “No, you’re not. Cheers.”

some guy with an asian accent phoned me about my pc saying i needed to turn it on. i waited a bit then mentioned it would take ages to start up because i hadn’t even switched it on yet. he got pretty annoyed 'cause i wasn’t following his instructions. he said he was calling from glasgow. he told me he’d call back in 5 mins. honestly, his attitude was quite frustrating.

I answered the phone but noone said anything, just silence. Then they hung up, seemed like they wanted me to ring them back or something. Strange call!

got a ring from this number, sound like an asian bloke, talking about my windows license xxxxxxxx. told him that ain’t my license - he was sure it was and said i should check on my computer! asked if i could chat to his manager but he just kept telling me to look at my pc. went round in circles for ages with me asking for his boss till he finally gave up and hung up. well, glad it wasn’t me wasting my time - hope it cost him some money and gave someone else a break! scammers and time wasters, honestly!

This morning at 9:35, I got a call from some 'international number' which I didn't recognise so I just ignored it. They'd tried ringing me a couple times last week too, but again no answer from me. Looks like just another scam call. I wonder how these companies or scammers even get hold of our phone numbers in the first place?

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent talking about some dodgy old Windows stuff, sounded like one of those classic scams.

I received a call from this number earlier about my Windows PC. I told them I’m an Apple user and don’t have any Windows machines, at which point they promptly ended the call. In reality, I do have a Windows computer, so it seems like they’re just trying their luck as spam callers.

I'm from the UK and just got a call from a guy who sounded Asian, or at least that's what I thought. He wanted to talk about my Windows computer, but I told him I don't use Windows because I stick to Apple stuff. Then he just cut the call right away. Bit strange because it's actually my daughter who uses Apple, and I'm the one with Windows. Sounds like a spammer trying his luck.

I recently received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, which has raised my suspicions. I've been inundated with spam calls lately, several of which appeared to be attempting to gain direct access to my computer-clearly a fraudulent scheme. I chose not to engage with the caller, as I'm not entirely convinced that this phone number is genuinely associated with Microsoft.
