Received a call from this number too, sounded pretty convincing but don’t trust it! They said there’s an issue with our router and wanted to get onto our computer. They even knew our name, address and postcode which made it scary. Just ignore it, don’t let them in and if your phone lets you, block the number because they’ll probably ring back.

i keep getting calls almost every week from someone saying they’re from talk talk and there’s some issue with my internet router, but i told them ages ago that i’m not a talk talk customer. they still keep calling and as soon as i say that, they just hang up on me. honestly, it’s so annoying, i’ve tried being nice and also a bit blunt, but nothing changes. they seriously shouldn’t be allowed to keep pestering people like this.

Just got a call from some bloke claiming my router had a virus and needed fixing. I told him I’d hang up and ring TalkTalk myself. He ended up hanging the phone up on me, probably 'cos he realised I knew it was a con. Definitely sounded like a scam to me!

Got a call from an Indian woman claiming she was with TalkTalk. She said there was an issue with my router that needed fixing.

Got a call from someone speaking with an Indian accent, said they were from TalkTalk and needed to get into my computer to sort out an issue. Let him talk for a bit before telling him exactly where to stick his “helpful” advice!

Mentioned that our SpeakSpeak router is having issues. These individuals claimed they could verify this when we powered up the computer, but we politely declined their offer. The accent sounded foreign.

Gave us a bell this morning. When we answered, some folks said hello in a strong accent, but then they just kept us on the line without saying much. After a while of waiting and getting nowhere, we decided to hang up the phone.
