I've been getting loads of calls from slightly different versions of this number, all claiming there's been suspicious activity on my bank account. It's totally a scam - just trying to freak you out so you'll give away your bank info. Best to just hang up and ignore them!

Got call purporting to be from Visa’s “emergency line”, warning about a £600 transaction underway online. They wanted me to press 1 or something. This is the fourth time in the past day I’ve had almost identical calls. First couple came from numbers I didn’t recognise on BT. Pretty sure it’s all a scam.

Heads up, I just noticed £600 missing from my bank, definitely a scam. Watch out everyone!

Just got a call from someone pretending to be from Visa. Don’t bother pressing any buttons, it’s a scam. Best thing to do is hang up straight away.
