5 yearsMy home phone buzzed and when I answered, an automated voice started up right away. It claimed my internet company had been attempting to reach me and warned that my connection would be cut off because of some illegal downloads. They gave a few numbers to press if I wanted to chat with someone about it. I didn’t trust it enough to go through any of that! This isn’t the first occasion I’ve received one of these dodgy calls.
