For the past two weeks, this particular number has been calling me consistently. I have chosen not to answer these calls as they never leave a message.

I picked up and immediately ended the call.

I received a phone call earlier today from someone wanting to talk to my son. When I informed them that he was not available, they became annoyed and called me some derogatory name before abruptly ending the call.

A number I got called from, 001482676876, said they were part of the government. Pretty sure it’s not legit though.

My telephone rang, but as soon as I picked up, the call ended abruptly. I'm utterly fed up with these incessant interruptions.

Got a call from 001482676876, sounded like the guy had a thick Indian accent. He claimed my bank had charged me too much. I told him to bugger off and so forth, and then he just started yelling abuse before hanging up. Honestly, best to just ignore this number altogether.

I received a call from someone claiming to be Mike Spencer from the UK Claims Advisory Department located at 223 Regent Street, London. Although this person sounded East Asian, he introduced himself as Mike Spencer. He explained that the government had identified an overpayment of bank charges in my account and that they would be sending me a cheque as reimbursement. He even provided me with a reference number for the transaction. However, suspicious of the situation, I decided to play it safe. When he asked for my bank name, I provided him with the name of a different bank than the one I actually use. Surprisingly, he didn't suspect anything and informed me that someone would be contacting me soon to ask for the reference number and inform me about the amount I would receive. Although I'm uncertain about the inner workings of this scam, I am on guard and wary of any further interactions related to this matter.

I just hung up as soon as I answered, what a proper knob.

Got a call from 001482676876 and when I nicely asked the guy to remove my details from their list, he just flat out refused, and sounded pretty rude about it. I told him it was a formal request and they were obliged to comply, but then he just hung up on me! Proper annoying.

Earlier today, an Asian gentleman contacted me via phone, addressing me by my name. I promptly informed him that I belonged to the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) and requested that he remove my name from their mailing list. However, he insisted that it was crucial, since they intended to close my bank account. Growing exasperated, the caller became annoyed, but much to his chagrin, I merely chuckled and clarified that I did not hold an account with their bank.

This number has rung me a couple of times, and each time I picked up, the caller just hung up straight away. I haven’t got a clue who they are, so I looked them up using 1471.

I received a total of 9 phone calls from an Asian gentleman in the past week. Today, I decided to have some fun and play the role of a village idiot during our conversation. The gentleman politely asked me to stop talking and bid me farewell, referring to me as a "stupid man." I had put him on speaker, allowing everyone around me to share a good laugh. I look forward to receiving more calls like this in the future!

Twice today my phone rang, but both times as soon as I picked up, the caller ended the call right away.

I have been receiving persistent calls throughout the week, occasionally even twice a day. However, whenever I pick up, the line gets disconnected.

I got a phonecall from someone calling himself "William." He claimed I’d been overcharged loads by my bank and told me I was about to get all the money back. When I asked him how he knew this, he just stuttered and then ended the call. Pretty sure it was just a scam.

A chap called me up, inquired about my name. In response, I queried his identity. He introduced himself as Noah and questioned why I inquired about his name. Infuriated, I promptly ended the call.

I recently received a call from an Asian male using this number. The caller identified me by my surname, but when I asked who was speaking, he immediately ended the call. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to prolong the conversation and have some fun with him on the line.

I was contacted by someone who claimed they were willing to mail a cheque in order to reimburse me for my bank fees. It was surprising because they knew both my name and address. However, I immediately decided not to entertain their conversation any further and promptly disconnected the call.

A few moments ago, I received a call from this number, but as soon as I answered, the call ended abruptly, with not a single word spoken.

I received three phone calls today! Two of them pretended to be from BT, stating that there was a significant security problem and that they needed to check if my computer was affected. They introduced themselves as Chris Martin from the UK, oddly though, their accent clearly indicated they were from South Asia. In response, I quickly and loudly blew the personal emergency whistle I always keep handy for such calls. Although I'm unsure if it bothers them, it definitely provides me with some satisfaction. 😄

This number keeps ringing and then just drops the call... it's really starting to spook my partner.

I have made comments on the two preceding entries in relation to this report. An Asian woman has contacted me on two separate occasions to inquire as to why I did not end the call. It is evident that she did not appreciate my response, which I found rather surprising and offensive. It appears that they are likely based in Mumbai or a similar location, as they seem to believe that they are exempt from any laws pertaining to communication.

A male with an Asian background, identified himself as having my name and address. He mentioned that I was entitled to a refund for being charged incorrectly on certain accounts. Before I could inquire about the details, he requested my date of birth in order to verify my identity for sending the refund cheque. When I declined to provide it, there was a sudden silence on the call. I attempted to proceed with the conversation by asking the next question, but received no response from him, although I could still hear him. Consequently, I ended the call by hanging up my phone.

An individual of Asian descent identified himself as being from the Ministry of Justice. When I politely inquired about the purpose of his call, he abruptly hung up the phone!

I received another call from this number once again. However, when I answered the phone, there was nobody on the other end. It seems evident that this is one of those call centres.
