Today at around 2.15pm on the 24th of October, I got a call from an Indian lady who said she was doing a survey for Life Style Choices. She kept going on even after I said she had the wrong person. In the end, I just hung up.

Just got a call from this number and told them I’m on the TPS list, so they should not be calling me. They flat out said ‘No, that’s not a valid excuse’. When I asked to speak to a manager, got the same ‘No’ again. Then asked for their company name and yep, you guessed it, refused to tell me. I asked for their address so I could make a complaint and the cheeky bloke actually gave me my own address thinking it was funny! Lost all patience then, no more being polite. I keep getting calls from this number almost all day, sometimes as early as the morning and sometimes well into the evening. Whenever I pick up and say my business name, the line usually goes dead quiet. Occasionally though, they ask to speak to someone specifically. It’s getting pretty irritating at this point.

Like loads of folks, we get bombarded by these annoying calls. We used to just brush them off, but now we jot down any numbers they use or check through 1471. What we do is answer the call, stay silent, let them babble away, then hang up. Since we pick up, they're hit with the call cost but get nothing from it. Hopefully, this makes their phone bill sky-high - serves them right!

This morning, I got a missed call from this number which I didn’t know at all. Couldn’t answer in time, so I searched the number online and saw what others have said about it. I've saved the number now and will just keep letting it ring without answering. Even though I’m registered with TPS, it doesn’t catch every unwanted call. Same story here. Whenever I don’t want to answer their questions, they start shouting and threatening me. Now I just let the call ring until they hang up, then I block the number straight away. I’m sure I’ll get more quiet calls later on, followed by someone pretending to be from Microsoft or BT tech support wanting to get into my computer. There’s not much you can do about it, and it feels like OFCOM just turns a blind eye. BT probably profits from this too, so they don’t bother doing anything. It’s really annoying.

Just like many others, I keep getting calls from this company claiming they're from Lifestyle and want to ask some questions. They sound Indian but always use English-style names, which is weird. No matter how many times I ask them to take me off their list, they just ignore it and start threatening me, saying they know where I live or that they'll ring me every half hour! I've blocked the number, but I’m certain I’ll get those silent calls tomorrow, followed by a call from Lifestyle within a couple of hours. I get the same kind of calls from people pretending to be Microsoft Security or BT Security, all wanting access to my PC. Now, I just let the phone ring for ages and eventually they give up, but their threats are really unpleasant and it feels like there’s nothing I can do. It's really infuriating and stressful.
