10 yearsAbsolutely a scammer on the phone! They claimed to be from TalkTalk and said there was something wrong with my computer. They asked me to turn it on so they could ‘fix’ it. I replied, “I don’t actually own a computer.” I kept stalling by saying it was booting up. After a while, I told them I was going to contact my internet provider using my phone to verify their story. Right after that, they just hung up! Watch out - this is definitely a con!!!TalkTalk10 yearsSomebody rang up saying they were from our internet company, telling us the computer had issues and the line was bad. I could barely hear them 'cause the background was noisy. Our PC's fine, never had any problems, so why would the internet supplier call about that outta nowhere?
