Some bloke rang saying he was from my internet provider. Lucky for me, I can spot a scam from miles away, so I just ended the call straight away.

Today, 8th March, I got a call from someone claiming to be from BT saying there was an issue with my internet. I told them I hadn’t noticed any problems and that if there was anything wrong, I’d contact BT myself since I had no idea who they really were and couldn’t verify their identity. I ended the call right then.

I got a call from some lot claiming to be from BT International's internet satisfaction group or something like that?? They told me I had a MAC address issue or whatever - when I called them out, they got pretty annoyed.

So, early morning yesterday, I got a call and when I picked up, there was a lot of noise in the background. After a bit, this woman with an accent asked if I was Mrs C####, the lady of the house. I told her she was daft for calling me so early with such a silly question, then she hung up on me. This morning, around the same time, I got another call but this time a bloke was on the line. He also wanted to know if I was Mrs C###, and when I asked who he was and what it was about, he just kept repeating my surname. I finally asked his name and then he just ended the call.

My partner picked up the phone and told them they need to stop calling us daily. The person on the other end, who sounded foreign, just snapped back with saying they’d only quit if we answered their questions, then dropped a rude word.

Getting calls in the middle of the night is really frustrating!

Been getting calls on my landline at odd hours, always ending up with a voicemail that's completely silent. I can hear what sounds like an Asian call centre in the background. This has been happening repeatedly, so I'm going to reach out to my phone company and see if they can block these annoying calls.

Someone rang me about computer support and when I told them I wasn’t interested in discussing my PC, they weirdly asked if I wanted a hard slap. Proper strange call!
