They keep ringing my folks every single day, even though now they're just ignoring it and letting it go straight to voicemail. It's really annoying the whole family.

i got a call from a woman, sounded asian but had a very english name, saying she was from bt and that my router was compromised with someone stealing my info. she asked me to switch on my pc so she could explain what was wrong. i refused and ended the call straight away, knowing it was dodgy. then about ten minutes later, a man, also asian and with an english name, called me with the exact same tale. i made it very clear to him to buzz off!

Some muppet phoned me saying they were from Sky internet support. I kept telling him he wasn’t with Sky, like three times, and all he kept saying was "who said we’re not with Sky?" At the start, he didn’t even bother asking for the account holder’s name. When I asked which name was on the account (there’s a choice of three, all registered with Sky), he somehow guessed the right last name, but got the first letter completely wrong for each one. When I pointed that out, he went really quiet, but didn’t hang up. Seriously, don’t give these lot any info!

Today I got a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft but when I answered, there was no one there. The call just ended suddenly.

Got a call from someone pretending to be with Sky about our internet. Thing is, we don’t even use Sky for broadband. Didn’t seem to bother the bloke on the phone though. He said his name was "Alex" - if that’s true, then I’m a kangaroo! When I asked him to prove he was really from Sky by naming the person who handles our account, he got the last name sort of right but the first name was completely off, and we don’t know anyone by that name at all. Proper muppet!

One time someone called saying they were from Sky, and then another day it was a different person saying they were with BT. They kept insisting I'd lose my internet for two weeks if I didn't turn my computer on. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

Got a call from someone pretending to be from BT saying my internet was sending out a virus via email. I slammed the phone down and blocked the number straight away before they could say more. Since I’m on the TPS list, I tried reporting it there but they said because it’s a scam, they don't deal with it. If you fancy it, you can try reporting it to trading standards instead.

I get calls from this number every single day, it's getting pretty annoying now. Can't seem to get them to stop either.

Got calls from this number three times today. The bloke claimed he was from BT saying there’s some issue with my internet. Since my provider isn’t BT, I figured it’s probably a scam. Ended the call straight away, didn’t bother listening to what else he had to say.

Got a really cheeky bloke on the phone pretending to be from BT. When I asked him to prove it, he actually told me off for speaking too loudly! I ended the call, but he rang me back half a dozen times or more. Proper annoying.
