7 yearsGot a recorded call just like others have said here. Was told it was from HM government about my NI number being cancelled and a warrant out for my arrest. Honestly, what a horrible scam. The automated call came through 4 times in less than an hour! That would be so frightening if you’re elderly or just anyone not expecting it. The government really needs to step in and make phone companies block these annoying and scary calls properly.National Insurance7 yearsLike a few others mentioned, I got a message with some robotic voice telling me to give my NI number or they'd issue an arrest warrant! Honestly, this has to be one of the daftest scam calls going about. I really hope nobody falls for it and answers back.National Insurance7 yearsGot a few recorded calls today, all saying the same thing about my National Insurance number being suspended by the government. The message warned that if I don’t press "1" right away, there’d be an arrest warrant out for me. So far, that’s landed three times today. Luckily, no one’s knocked on my door yet!GovernmentNational Insurance7 yearsGot a voicemail from HMRC threatening legal action - I never even got a chance to answer, hung up straight away!HMRCSubmit Your Own Report (44203322)
