crikey, they really seem to be working overtime! got a call from a foreign number right at 8 in the morning, but i just let it go as i don’t know anyone from bermuda. sounded dodgy to me. if you pick up, the first thing you get is some robot voice, then you end up getting loads of calls all day from uk numbers. i reckon they’ve got some tech that masks the original foreign number with a uk one. definitely not worth answering, it’s a bit risky.

I saw a missed call earlier today and decided to look the number up here, found out it was a scam. When the phone rang again around lunchtime, I picked up but the guy with a Caribbean accent saying ‘hello this is Alex’ didn’t get far before I just hung up. If they bother calling back, I won’t be so polite next time!

Got a call around 9 in the morning from someone named Faniel at Talk Talk, saying there were issues with my internet connection.

These calls come from people pretending to be from TalkTalk, usually an Asian lady or occasionally an Asian bloke. They ring me nearly every day, sometimes as early as 7 or 8 in the morning, using different phone numbers each time. They tell me there’s some virus messing up my internet and say I need to update my router. Then they mention a £200 refund for trouble caused. It’s definitely a con, they just want to grab your bank info and get into your computer. Be careful and don’t get caught out!

Got calls nearly every other day at around 7 or 8 in the morning, from people claiming to be from TalkTalk - mostly an Asian woman, sometimes a man. They say there’s a virus on my internet and that my router needs fixing. They also promise a £200 refund for the trouble. It's total nonsense. They just want your bank info and to get into your computer. Don’t be fooled by it, it’s a scam for sure.

Got calls nearly every day from what sounded like TalkTalk, usually this Asian lady, sometimes a bloke, ringing up early morning like 7 or 8 am from various numbers. They’d say there's a virus messing up my internet and that the router has to be fixed straight away. Then they promise some £200 refund for the trouble. It’s all rubbish to trick you into giving your bank info and letting them into your computer. Do not trust them, it’s definitely a scam.

Got a call at 9 in the morning, which was really irritating since the baby had just fallen back to sleep. Didn’t pick up as I wasn’t waiting for calls like this.

Got a ring around 8 in the morning from someone named “Sonia” claiming to be from TalkTalk tech support. She had a strong Asian accent. When I asked what the issue was, she said my PC had some kind of problem - but it’s nothing to do with TalkTalk. I ended up telling her to jog on.

got a call early this morning around 8 am, some bloke saying he was steve from talk talk then just dropped the call straight away.
