9 yearsGot a call from someone with an Indian accent saying they were from my internet provider. They insisted I’d paid too much via Direct Debit and wanted me to verify that’s how I pay (didn’t go along with it). When I asked for their info, they gave me a name, some kind of staff number, and a reference that looked suspiciously like another phone number. They told me I’d need to ring the tech support because sales wouldn’t recognise that reference.
