This caller is just trying to trick you into ringing them back - the area code is from the States, so I guess they're making a bit of dosh from the phone company somehow. Total waste of time, best to just block it and move on.

Got a call from 001429233062 at about 8.17am today, the 7th of Feb. Normally I wouldn’t pick up, but I did. It was one of those dodgy recorded messages saying they’re about to cut off your internet. I just hung up straight away. When I looked it up, the number seemed to be from the US. Total scam, avoid!

I just got a recorded call saying BT's gonna cut off my internet. Honestly, let them do it, I’m fed up with BT anyway.

Got a robo call this time pretending to be from BT’s tech team, saying my internet was gonna be disconnected soon. As soon as I realised it was fake, I just ended the call. This isn’t the first time I’ve got these dodgy messages either.

Got a dodgy call, definitely a scam.

Got this dodgy call saying my BT internet was about to be switched on, and if I pressed 1 they'd call me back. Turned out they charged me for a call to some dodgy Americall number. Total scam, watch out!

Got a call just now, but they hung up right when my voicemail kicked in. These days i only pick up if theres a message left.
