Some automated American voice called me saying my IP ADDRESS was hacked or something and that they had to switch it to a new one coz it was being used in loads of different countries. The message told me to press 1 to talk to their tech team about changing it. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Just like others have mentioned, I got a call from a robotic voice claiming to be my internet company. They said my IP address was hacked by a bunch of countries... then told me to press 1 or my service would be stopped. I've gotten quite a few calls like this one, and it’s obviously a scam.

A couple of days ago, this number rang me, and then they called once more today. It was one of those automated messages stating that my IP address had to be changed because my computer had been hacked or something. They also warned they'd cut off my internet if I didn’t sort it out. They told me to press 1 to talk to a ‘technician’, but honestly, I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. I didn’t bother pressing anything since my computer and internet seem perfectly fine.
