i got a call today where they wanted me to let them on my computer but i refused cause last time they took £150 from me and kept trying to get into my PC whenever it was switched on. honestly, these people should be put to a stop.

Got a ring from someone pretending to be from “Microsoft,” saying my computer had a virus and they had to fix it. A bloke named Steve was quite pushy, wanting me to let him remotely control my PC. I kept him chatting for about an hour though! Ended up baking a loaf of bread while I had him on the line. Classic scam warning!

today i received a call from a man who sounded asian, saying there were issues with my computer that needed fixing. he kept pushing me for details but i told him i don’t own a computer. then strangely, he asked if i was an idiot. i was taken aback and said, ‘what?’ he repeated the question, and i just ended the call.

Got a call at half past eight in the morning from someone claiming to be with “Microsurf” - all sounded like Microsoft to me. They said my PC had a virus, but I told them I actually work for Microsoft and asked how they thought they had the right to mess with anyone’s computer. Of course, they hung up straight away. What worries me most is that these scammers might trick people who aren’t as clued up about computers. Honestly, no genuine company’s going to call you out of the blue about your computer being infected.

On the 1st of August, 2016, got a call from 0014067825486 around 8:50 in the morning. I picked up and tried to be polite but the person on the other end hung up straight away without saying a word. Pretty sure it's one of those annoying scams. Honestly, the government needs to step in and make laws to crack down on these groups - freeze their assets like bank accounts, cars, and any property they own, whether personal or business stuff - and hand all that cash over to the treasury.

This is totally a scam, they just want to hack into your computer. They spin a load of scary stories and then tell you to visit [#[fastsupport [###] and enter a code they give you. After that, your computer gets locked down and they demand a hefty fee to unlock it. Don't fall for it!

So rude! My daughter checked if I was a ‘funny call’, and the bloke just laughed and told her to f#ck off! No chance I’m meeting him anytime soon, I swear I’ll give him a right telling off!

I picked up and heard nothing but silence, thought it might be one of those call centre calls, so I just ended it straight away.
