I’ve had enough of these morons calling me constantly! Since we’re signed up with TPP and the directory, I’ve got myself a really loud whistle now. The next time a proper person rings me, I’m totally gonna blow it right in their ear! It’s becoming a right pain in the neck!

Got a call from 001395862813 which seemed dodgy. It was showing up like it was from the US with area code 395, but as far as I know that code isn't actually assigned to any place. They claimed to be from Dunn & Bradstreet, which you'd expect to be reliable, but no legit company would spoof their caller ID like that. So yeah, definitely a scammer trying to fish for personal info. Be careful with calls like these!

lately ive blocked all intl calls coz we kept getting nonstop scams from abroad - something about windows or benergy, from all kinds of international places. it all kicked off just a few days ago, looks like some overseas call centre sold our details or something coz the calls come one after another. now they just go straight to voicemail and those dodgy callers hang up. its been working alright, if it’s a legit call from abroad we figure they’ll drop a message. this number has been popping up loads on our caller ID so its a relief it’s blocked now.

About three weeks back, I took myself off the directory because I kept getting loads of calls. Tonight though, this same number popped up again on my phone. I’m really puzzled - how do they manage to get access to our confidential numbers like that?

Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be linked with energy services. Told them I wasn’t interested and reminded them I’m on the TPS register, so they really shouldn’t be ringing me up. They just hung up on me straight away. I wonder how on earth they found my number, I’m not even listed in any phone directory.

Got another dodgy ring from India, this time some bloke saying he was from the “energy centre.” When I asked if he was calling from Bombay or here in the UK, he just said the UK. My phone showed it was an international call, so I called him out for being a liar. Asked what sort of scam he thought would work on me, then the line went dead. Honestly, wish there was a way to get rid of these pests for good!

Got a call around 6:30pm from a woman who sounded Asian. She just said hello and kept repeating it, so I waited to see if she’d say anything else. If it was someone I knew, they’d say who they were straight away. After a bit of silence with her just saying hello over and over, she ended the call. I normally get calls like this in the morning and let them go to voicemail, but this caught me off guard since it was so late.

Got a call from this number today (2nd December 2016) that was really frustrating. When I answered, there was some muffled noise but then nothing - just dead silence.
