Got a call from some bloke claiming he’s from BT Openreach about my area, said he needed to change my router’s channel number. Asked me to switch on my computer so he could help me sort it out. The guy sounded Indian and was calling from an international number. Smelt a bit fishy so I didn’t bother. Figured if there was a real issue, my broadband provider would contact me themselves.
